My senior prom was saturday night and it was probably the best night of my life. Even though I didn’t have a date, it was totally worth it. I realized that you don’t need a man to define who you are as a person. But this picture is from saturday morning. I ran a 5k for a woman who lost her life while running. It was early in the morning and she was hit by a truck while crossing through an intersection. And although i’m a terrible runner as well as being slightly lazy, I beat my time from last year. I’m extremely proud of myself and if I can do this and dance all night long, then I can do whatever I set my mind to. I guess I just never realized what I was capable of until I was really put to the test.And of course, I don’t face that much in life that would be considered tough, but to me, this right here is a big deal. I did it and I will keep on doing it.
